You can borrow up to 85% of the value of your home, then reuse the funds again and again as you repay your line of credit. It’s always there as a ready cash reserve.

This is a variable rate line of credit. After the 12-month introductory rate period, your rate will be based on the highest Prime Rate published in the Wall Street Journal. As of March 19, 2008 the Prime Rate was 5.25 % APR. Based on that rate your introductory rate would be 4.25% APR. The lifetime APR cap is 18% and the annual increase cap is 2.00%. Your APR may differ depending on your closing date and may vary thereafter. Your line is secured by a mortgage on your home. Property insurance required.
